  1. the only thing I find I'm missing (and I'm an absolute book-worm) is books that really help you with numbers and terminology when it comes to increasing financial IQ. I'm becoming more confident after reading a load of Phil Town's books but still If i was to have a conversation with a friend that's in finance it would be like he's speaking a different language, any tips for this anyone or any book recommendations?

  2. Thankfully I was introduced to Rich Dad Poor Dad very young so learned the concept of assets and liabilities before I got into the real world. Then Total Money Makeover was gifted to me as a college graduation gift. In both cases I wasn’t seeking the information, but others gave it to me. Those two really were great introductions to personal finance and set me on a path to be debt free and then start focusing on assets and investments. My third is not on your list but The Only Investment Guide You’ll Ever Need was good for me as a novice investor because it speaks in plain language and made investing simple. Now about to start The Millionaire Next Door.

  3. I have read most of these books, still need to read Think and Grow Rich and Th Bogleheads Guide to Investing.

Its interesting that Dave Ramsay and Robert Kiosaki are on this list together as they are polar opposites. How do you balance what they teach? How do you decide which to use?

  4. I also love 'The Wealthy Barber'. It's always the first book I recommend someone read if they feel like they're starting from 0 when it comes to managing their finances. It's super beginner friendly, AND it has a Canadian edition! The Intelligent Investor is the absolute best book for anyone who is at the stage of starting to invest!

  5. Commenting for the algo as I stop by to pick my next. Thinking Bogleheads, as I like the name. Started with "Rich Dad Poor Dad" as my in-laws recommended it. "Total Money Makeover" was second, because Dave Ramsey recommended it 😂

    Thanks, Marko, for the list.

  6. I use credit cards – the ones that return a 1.5 and 2% interests. Why? Because if I buy a thing for $100, getting $ return based on that amount is actually a good idea. 🙂

  7. Thanks Marco. I've only read rich Dad and up until chapter 4 of think and grow rich and thought it was a bunch of nonsense mostly. It's an understatement to say it was repetitive. My list so far is:
    -Rich dad poor dad
    -your money or your life
    -richest man in Babylon
    -millionaire next door

  8. Great video, great channel. I’ve read almost all of them. I read “The Millionaire Next Door” 25+ years ago and made it my goal to become a Millionaire next door. Following the advice, it worked! My mother is very financially savvy and taught me the concepts you teach when I was growing up. Not everyone has a parent like that, so it is so wonderful that you take the time to share your knowledge with anyone who wants to listen! I send your videos to my sons in college, and share with friends. Keep up the good work, you are making a difference in people’s lives! Thank you!😊
